Accelerating the progress of key projects will create momentum for Thai Nguyen's growth.

Over three days (from April 21st to 23rd), Comrade Trinh Viet Hung, Alternate Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee, along with members of the Standing Committee and the Provincial People's Committee, inspected the progress of several key projects in the province. The aim was to expedite construction, bring the projects into operation as soon as possible, and create momentum for realizing the 2025 growth targets.

The construction progress of the Glory Golf Course Project has currently reached approximately 70% of the total volume.

The Glory Golf Course project, spanning 54 hectares with 18 holes and a total investment of nearly 388 billion VND, is being developed by MDA G&C Co., Ltd. It is one of 13 golf courses included in the provincial planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050. To date, the project has reached approximately 70% completion, including items such as golf course design, grass planting, drainage system, electric carts, clubhouse, and other supporting facilities. The golf course is expected to be completed in July 2025, two months ahead of schedule.

The Flamingo Majestic Islands Resort project in the Nui Coc Lake National Tourist Area is being developed by the Flamingo Group with 6-star standards; the total planned area for the first phase is 61 hectares (including water surface), featuring luxurious villas, secluded resort spaces combined with a range of high-class amenities.

The project promises to fully exploit the tourism potential of Nui Coc Lake, creating a breakthrough for Thai Nguyen tourism on the map of luxury resorts. This will contribute to elevating the Thai Nguyen tourism brand both domestically and internationally. Currently, the investor is actively implementing the project's components with the determination to complete it ahead of schedule.

The Tan Thai Golf Course project is the first golf course project approved by the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen province after the Prime Minister approved the provincial planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050. The project, invested by Tan Thai Golf Joint Stock Company, covers an area of ​​84.2 hectares and is designed to include the following main components: an 18-hole golf course built to international standards, an administration building, auxiliary facilities, landscaping, etc., with a total investment of over 586 billion VND.

The project is planned based on the existing natural ecosystem, nestled on the eastern slopes of the Tam Dao mountain range; it has a transportation system connecting to Provincial Road 270, the extended Bac Son road, and is adjacent to the regional connecting road… Currently, the investor is mobilizing machinery and personnel, dividing construction shifts day and night to accelerate progress, striving for completion in 2025.

The extended Bac Son road project spans nearly 10km and has a total investment of over 2,100 billion VND. The road features 6 lanes, a 61m wide cross-section, and connects the center of Thai Nguyen City with the Nui Coc Lake tourist area. The project is implemented under a public-private partnership (PPP) model, with Xuan Truong Private Enterprise as the investor.

Provincial leaders presented gifts to encourage the construction unit working on the extended Bac Son road project.

Currently, the main road has been largely completed; however, auxiliary items (such as greenery, lighting, water supply system, fire prevention and fighting, etc.) have not yet been fully invested in and constructed. Following the Prime Minister's approval in Document No. 152/TB-VPCP dated April 3, 2025, the Provincial People's Committee directed the Thai Nguyen City People's Committee to coordinate with the investor to implement the necessary conditions to restart the project. Currently, the investor has mobilized vehicles, machinery, equipment, and personnel to carry out construction, striving to complete the road before June 30, 2025.

After conducting an on-site inspection, Provincial Party Secretary Trinh Viet Hung acknowledged and highly appreciated the involvement of the investor and local authorities in resolving difficulties and accelerating the progress of the projects. He emphasized: These are key projects with significant importance in the socio-economic development of the province and the region. Therefore, relevant departments, agencies, and localities need to continue to closely coordinate with the investor, comply with legal regulations, ensure the quality of the construction, and demonstrate a spirit of overcoming challenges and striving to complete the projects ahead of schedule. In addition, specialized departments need to strengthen inspection and supervision, promptly resolve any obstacles for the investor, and develop effective exploitation plans immediately after the projects are completed.

Provincial Party Secretary Trinh Viet Hung urged contractors to make every effort to work through the sun and rain, determined to complete the projects ahead of schedule.

Emphasizing the province's growth target of 8.5 to 10.5% in 2025, the Provincial Party Secretary affirmed that Thai Nguyen will continue to support and create the most favorable conditions to attract and retain investors, thereby unlocking development resources and improving the quality of growth in a sustainable manner.
