These days, the 2km long sea dike in Thach Kim commune is decorated with 220 national flags and Party flags to celebrate National Day September 2.
According to VTC News, on September 1, the road on Thach Kim sea dike was filled with red flags with yellow stars, attracting many locals and tourists to "check-in".
Ms. Hoa (in Hanoi) said that this holiday she followed her family to the Central region for a trip and was very impressed by the flag road along the beach. “Looking at the row of bright red national flags, straight and fluttering in the wind, I had many special feelings,” she said.
“I chose the ao dai to take photos to match the important day of the country. Looking at the flags fluttering in the wind, I feel very beautiful and meaningful,” Ms. Duong Thi My (Thach Kim commune) shared.
Children were also given elegant costumes to take pictures with the national flag.
The bright red road winding along the beach creates a rare image.

Responding to VTC News, Mr. Pham Van Quan, Secretary of the Youth Union of Thach Kim commune, said that to celebrate the 79th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2, the locality came up with the idea of making a red flag road to show patriotism.
“The red flag with yellow star and the Party flag flying high are the pride of every Vietnamese person, and also a reminder to the younger generation of the glorious pages of the nation's history,” said the Secretary of the Youth Union of Thach Kim commune.
