The Road to Olympia 2025 final will take place at 8:30 a.m. on October 26, with four live television broadcast locations in Hue - Dong Thap - Khanh Hoa - Hanoi , broadcast on VTV3.

The four finalists include Le Quang Duy Khoa (Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted - Hue City), Nguyen Nhat Lam (Cai Be High School, Dong Thap ), Doan Thanh Tung (Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted, Khanh Hoa) and Tran Bui Bao Khanh (Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, Hanoi).

The Road to Olympia laurel wreath has a 5-pointed gold star as a highlight.

Designer Do Van Tri said he has accompanied the program Road to Olympia for 11 years.

"Every year I breathe new life into the design, a completely new product, a surprise for everyone. Completely inspired but meaningful, not arbitrary and meaningless adaptation. So every year is a new design, no year is the same as the previous year," said Do Van Tri.

According to this designer, the 25th anniversary laurel wreath is designed to be minimalist but meaningful, with the highlight being the five-pointed golden star symbolizing the Vietnamese national flag, placed behind as an affirmation of national pride.

Tri added, "That is also a message to you - the young generation, the future of the country, to put patriotism first."

Message of wisdom and national pride

The inspiration comes from the laurel wreath symbol of victory and wisdom of ancient Greece and Rome, but is recreated in the spirit of honoring modern Vietnamese wisdom.

Do Van Tri revealed that the laurel wreath is still hand-carved brass, but this year it switched to using advanced 18K gold vacuum plating technology (PVD - Physical Vapor Deposition), with an additional protective nano layer.

This is a modern technique in the jewelry industry, affirming the message of intelligence and national pride.

"18K gold symbolizes glory, steadfastness, and radiance, reminiscent of the yellow star on the national flag," the designer shared.

The open structure and staggered leaves symbolize development, innovation, and constant progress, expressing the youthful and dynamic spirit of the new generation.

Each leaf is meticulously crafted with embossed and beveled edges, creating a multi-dimensional light effect, bringing a strong and vibrant feeling.

“The combination of exquisite craftsmanship and modern coating technology conveys the message: Glory comes not only from victory, but also from the journey of striving to perfect oneself,” he added.
