Previously, during the prolonged heavy rain, the People's Committee of An Cuu Ward organized forces to inspect and survey the situation in low-lying areas, proactively mobilized and supported people to evacuate to safe places. Among them, the family of Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Hong, residing at 34/46 Nguyen Huu Canh (Group 1 An Tay, An Cuu Ward) is one of the particularly difficult households that received attention and support.
Ms. Hong's family is poor, with a son, Mr. Nguyen Van Ha, suffering from a cerebral hemorrhage, bedridden for many years, completely losing the ability to work. In the face of complicated weather developments, to ensure safety, on the evening of October 22, the Ward People's Committee promptly mobilized forces and means to evacuate the whole family to An Cuu Ward Health Station, Facility 3 (119 Vo Van Kiet) to avoid the flood.

During their stay at the medical station, the family members were taken care of wholeheartedly by medical staff, militia and ward officials, and provided with food and medicine. The leaders of An Cuu ward also directly visited, encouraged and gave gifts to help the family overcome difficulties.
When the weather was stable and the water receded, the Ward People's Committee coordinated with the 0 Dong Car Team to arrange vehicles to bring Ms. Hong's family back home safely, continuing to stabilize their lives.
The activity demonstrates the spirit of mutual love and support, and at the same time shows the initiative, responsibility and humanity of An Cuu ward government in flood prevention and support for local people.
