Sample exam questions for 10th grade entrance exam in 2025 of Hai Phong, Ninh Binh, Phu Tho

(Dan Tri) - Hai Phong , Ninh Binh, Phu Tho and many other provinces and cities have announced the structure and sample questions for the 10th grade entrance exam for public schools in 2025.

The Hai Phong Department of Education and Training announced the structure and sample questions of the 10th grade public entrance exam for the 2025-2026 school year. The subjects include: math, literature, natural sciences, history and geography, civics, English, Chinese, French, Korean, Japanese and Russian.

Literature is the only essay subject, with a test duration of 120 minutes. The remaining subjects are multiple choice. Except for math, which is 90 minutes, the remaining subjects are 60 minutes.

Ninh Binh Department of Education and Training also announced the structure and sample questions of 5 subjects for the 10th grade entrance exam in 2025 including: math, literature, English, natural science , history and geography.

Literature is a 120-minute essay test. Math is a 120-minute essay and multiple-choice test. The remaining 3 subjects are multiple-choice tests in 60 minutes.

Phu Tho province announced the exam structure and sample questions for three public 10th grade exams: math, literature, and English. The math and literature exams last 120 minutes. The English exam lasts 60 minutes.

Previously, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Vinh Phuc provinces also issued the exam structure for public grade 10 entrance exams for the 2025-2026 school year. By January 2025, localities have not yet finalized the exam plan for grade 10 because the Ministry of Education and Training has not yet issued a new Circular on junior high school and high school admissions.
