According to him, AI is opening up many new opportunities for Vietnamese education such as expanding access to knowledge, narrowing regional gaps, promoting personalized education and inspiring creativity, but also posing great challenges in data security, academic ethics, teachers' digital capacity and the risk of technology dependence.

“How AI serves humans, not replaces humans – that is the core question,” Mr. Nguyen Khac Van emphasized.

Dr. Le Thi Mai Hoa, Deputy Director of the Department of Education (Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission), made 6 key recommendations: Building a "National AI Literacy" program to popularize AI knowledge for teachers and students; Fostering digital skills and AI ethics for teachers; Integrating AI into STEM subjects; Building an academic ethics framework and using AI in teaching and research; Investing in digital infrastructure, developing a "Make in Vietnam" AI platform; Promoting propaganda and raising awareness about AI throughout the education sector.

Representative of the Vietnam Institute of Educational Sciences , Prof. Dr. Le Anh Vinh, said that the Ministry of Education and Training is developing an AI education program from grades 1 to 12, but implementation is limited due to lack of human resources and infrastructure. He proposed three pillars for sustainable development: consistent policies, flexible programs, and synchronous investment of resources.

Mr. Huynh Thanh Dat, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, suggested that the Ministry of Education and Training and the Ministry of Science and Technology should soon advise the Government to issue an AI ethics framework and an AI education program for general education. At the same time, research should be conducted to establish a Digital Transformation Fund in Education to mobilize social resources, promote AI applications and digital infrastructure in the industry.
