The General Secretary affirmed strong support for multilateralism with the UN playing a central role. Vietnam is well aware of its responsibilities and is ready to participate in resolving global issues such as maintaining peace, resolving conflicts, promoting development, ensuring human rights, and responding to climate change…

With a deep understanding of the value of peace, Vietnam supports the peaceful resolution of disputes and conflicts, in accordance with the UN Charter and international law.

Vietnam prioritizes stable, sustainable, and long-term development, applying science and technology, innovation, digital transformation, and environmental protection, while also being ready to share experiences and support other countries in economic development, agriculture, health, education, etc.

The UN Secretary-General shared his special feelings each time he visits Vietnam, associating it with memories of his past struggle to support Vietnam.

During his meeting with UN Secretary-General António Guterres, Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính affirmed that supporting and cooperating with the UN is a "tradition" of Vietnam, and that in the coming period, Vietnam will strengthen its contributions to UN activities.

Vietnam has always supported multilateralism with the UN at its center, promoting adherence to the UN Charter and international law, and the organization of the signing ceremony for the Convention on Cybercrime is a testament to this strong commitment.
