Delegation of the Vietnam-Japan Friendship Association visits and works in Japan.

In accordance with its annual work plan, the Vietnam-Japan Friendship Association delegation, led by Mr. Bui Khac Son, Permanent Vice President of the Association, visited and worked in Japan from December 5-10, 2025. The main purpose of the visit was to strengthen people-to-people friendship between Vietnam and Japan, and to gradually expand connections and coordination with Japanese friendship organizations with Vietnam, as well as with organizations and individuals in Japan.

During their visit to Japan, the delegation paid courtesy calls to the Chairperson of the Japan-Vietnam Parliamentary Friendship Alliance, Obuchi Yuko, and the Advisor to the Japan-Vietnam Parliamentary Friendship Alliance, Takebe Tsutomu. They also held working meetings with the Kansai-region Japan-Vietnam Friendship Association, the Sakai-region Japan-Vietnam Friendship Association, and the Ibaraki-Vietnam Friendship Association, and attended the 3rd Vietnam Business Day in Japan organized by the Vietnam Business Association in Japan.

During the meetings and working sessions, the delegation respectfully conveyed the warm greetings of the Chairman of the Vietnam-Japan Friendship Association to the leaders and members of the friendship associations; informed them of the main aspects of the situation in Vietnam, the activities of the Vietnam-Japan Friendship Association, and the Association's orientation for the new stage of development between the two countries. The two sides also discussed strengthening support for economic cooperation, local cooperation, and youth exchanges between the two countries.

Japanese people expressed their warm feelings towards Vietnam and highly appreciated Vietnam's development.

The delegation's trip was a great success, opening up new avenues for further expanding the Association's relations with partners in Japan.
