The construction of a digital map aims to support candidates in looking up exam score information and navigating to exam locations, avoiding confusion during the high school graduation exam.
Nguyen Duc Minh Quan, a 12th grade student at May High School, said that he will take the upcoming high school graduation exam at Linh Nam Secondary School (Hoang Mai). When he learned about the digital map of graduation exam scores, Quan found it very convenient because he only needed to click on the exam score name in the left corner of the screen and the exam score would appear on the map with full information: address, exam phone number, number of candidates, exam room... and directions. In particular, the map has updated exam scores for the 2006 education program and the 2018 program, so candidates taking the exam according to which program can find the exam score according to that program.

This year's high school graduation exam took place on June 26-27, with more than 124,000 candidates registering in Hanoi . The city has established 233 exam sites and nearly 5,600 exam rooms; mobilized 16,000 officials, teachers, and employees to participate in exam supervision. High schools and vocational education and continuing education centers in Hanoi have completed returning the 2025 high school graduation exam notices to 12th grade students. The notices contain important information such as: full name, date of birth, registration number, exam location, information about the registered exam/subject...
Therefore, as soon as they receive the exam notice, candidates need to carefully check all the content printed on the paper. In case the information on the exam notice is incorrect, candidates should immediately contact their homeroom teacher. Candidates should note that in case they have not received the 2025 high school graduation exam notice, they should immediately contact their homeroom teacher for support. This is one of the important documents that candidates must bring with them to the exam site, as a basis for the exam supervisor to check and compare candidate information.
Candidates complete exam registration procedures at 2:00 p.m. on June 25. When coming to complete exam registration procedures, candidates must bring their exam registration notice.
This is the first year the exam is organized for 2 groups of candidates: candidates studying the 2018 General Education Program and candidates studying the 2006 General Education Program. Hanoi has 2,565 candidates registered to take the 2006 program at 4 exam locations: Ly Son Secondary School (Long Bien); Ha Dong Secondary School (Ha Dong); Chu Van An Specialized High School and Pham Hong Thai High School (Dan Phuong).
The Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee has issued a Directive on strengthening the direction and coordination of the exam organization. The City's Exam Steering Committee issued a plan to organize the exam, assigned specific tasks to members, and established 15 inspection teams.
The Hanoi Department of Education and Training prepares a plan to arrange facilities for printing, copying, and marking exams to ensure compliance with exam regulations; establishes inspection teams for facilities at exam sites, exam marking locations, and locations for printing and copying exams, etc.
Regarding advantages, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training stated that the first year of organizing the high school graduation exam according to the 2018 General Education Program with many new points, so teachers and candidates are still confused. Hanoi has a large number of candidates, a large number of exam papers to print, many exam codes for each exam session and each type of program, so the printing work is very difficult.
The multiple choice test marking task also encountered difficulties due to the large number of papers being marked, and the marking was done on two different software. Therefore, it was necessary to equip many machines and mobilize more staff and teachers to participate and work continuously to ensure completion within the prescribed time.
Support for disadvantaged students
At an online meeting with Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on the 2025 high school graduation exam, Mr. Tran Huy Tuan, Secretary of the Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee, pointed out some difficulties of the locality due to the large area, the difficult infrastructure of some exam sites, and the risk of floods and landslides if there is heavy rain. The province has developed a plan to prevent these situations.
In the 2025 high school graduation exam, Quang Ninh has nearly 20,000 candidates. Although the district level will end its activities by the end of June, the District Examination Steering Committee is still actively monitoring the situation, regularly mobilizing organizations and individuals to ensure conditions at the exam sites and provide the best support for candidates.
Soc Trang province has over 11,000 candidates taking the exam. Localities have reviewed and found about 780 candidates with difficult circumstances and the province has decided to support each candidate with 300,000 VND to participate in the exam.
The 2025 high school graduation exam takes place in a special context when the whole country focuses on arranging provincial-level administrative units, not organizing at the district level; right before June 30 when the whole country simultaneously announces the system of organizational apparatus and administrative units, putting into operation at the provincial and communal levels simultaneously from July 1. Therefore, the exam is organized with 3-level local authorities but grading and announcing results with 2-level local authorities.
Localities are ready for the 2025 high school graduation exam, with nearly 1.17 million candidates registered to take the exam, an increase of nearly 100,000 students compared to 2024.
The Prime Minister requested that leaders of provinces and centrally-run cities take full responsibility for the preparation and organization of the exam in the spirit of "6 clear", including: clear people, clear work, clear responsibility, clear authority, clear time, clear results, with the spirit of prioritizing and creating the most favorable conditions for candidates, paying attention to candidates in difficult circumstances.
