Today, July 24, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) issued a notice on the equivalent conversion of admission scores (standard scores) between admission methods and the difference in scores between admission combinations according to the method of using high school graduation exam results.
According to the announcement, many industries have a difference of up to 3.5 points between C00 and D01.
The majors with the highest difference in scores between C00 and D01 (3.5 points) include: Journalism, Oriental Studies, Korean Studies, Public Relations, Tourism and Travel Services Management, Hotel Management, International Studies, Psychology.
These are all majors that have very fierce competition every year among candidates in group C00 when the standard score is around 29 (on a 30-point scale).

With the above difference, when determining the admission score, the standard score for combination C00 will be 3.5 points higher than the standard score for combination D01 (of the same major).
For example, in journalism, if the original combination benchmark is 29 points, the benchmark scores of combinations D14, D15, D66 are all 26; D01 is 25.5; C03 and C04 are both 26.5 points.
