Speaking to VietNamNet , Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Thi Hoa, Head of the Examination and Training Quality Assurance Department of the University of Transport, said that based on the high school graduation exam score distribution, the source of registered candidates and enrollment data from previous years, it is predicted that the standard scores for the school's majors in 2025 will decrease compared to 2024. However, according to Ms. Hoa, the degree of decrease depends on the major groups.

Specifically, for industries with high benchmark scores in previous years (such as Logistics and Supply Chain Management; Automotive Engineering; Information Technology; Computer Engineering; Computer Science ; Mechatronic Engineering), benchmark scores are unlikely to fluctuate much; if any, they will decrease very little.
For the average majors (most of the remaining majors of the school), the benchmark score will decrease slightly, fluctuating between 0.5 - 1 point.
Ms. Hoa predicts that the majors with the highest admission scores at the University of Transport this year will still be: Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering. “It is expected that the admission scores for these majors will remain stable at the level of 2024, that is, from 25.5 to nearly 27 points. The remaining majors mostly have admission scores in the range of 22 - 24 points. Some majors are expected to have low admission scores - that is, around 20 points, such as: Traffic Construction Engineering, Hydraulic Construction Engineering.
According to Ms. Hoa, to have hope of being admitted to the University of Transport this year, candidates must have a score of 20 points or higher.

As planned, tuition fees applied to standard programs of the University of Transport are as follows:
Majors in group III are 398,060 VND/1 credit; majors in group V are 466,438 VND/1 credit; majors in group VII are 425,524 VND/1 credit.
Advanced, high-quality programs: Majors in block III are 694,935 VND/1 credit; majors in block V are 766,810 VND/1 credit.
The roadmap for increasing maximum tuition fees for each year is implemented according to Decree 97/ND-CP of the Government . Each following year, tuition fees are expected to increase by 10% according to the provisions of Decree 97/ND-CP. For training programs that have met accreditation standards, the maximum tuition fee increase will not exceed 2.5 times. When the school is approved by the competent authority for its regular expenditure autonomy project, tuition fees will be collected according to the project, but standard training programs will not increase more than 2 times.
The school also spends billions of dong to award scholarships to new students with high entrance scores and good academic and training results after each semester. In addition to scholarships from the school, new students also have the opportunity to receive many types of scholarships from businesses and social organizations that accompany the school in training and scientific research.
