Afraid to act in hot scenes because of low self-esteem about appearance

In the movie The Haunted House , actress Van Trang plays Quynh - a woman whose husband is disabled. The character works as a vegetable seller to support her family, is under a lot of pressure because of infertility, lives in poverty and is constantly haunted by "ghosts".

Sharing with VietNamNet , Van Trang said this is the most different role she has ever played. She spent time observing the women who do business in the countryside, from their speech to their daily behavior, from which she could create a suitable transformation.

In the film, Van Trang and Huynh Dong have a hot scene that attracts attention. The segment depicts a deprived, deadlocked married life that creates invisible pressure.

In real life, Van Trang and Huynh Dong are close. The actor joked that when filming intimate scenes, she sometimes found it funny looking at her senior's face.

After filming, she kept the hot scenes in the movie a secret from her husband. Her husband was also reassured, did not ask or worry because he understood the relationship between his wife and her co-star.

Van Trang once set a rule of not accepting sensitive scenes. She was afraid of not doing well because of her introverted personality and low self-esteem about her body.

Encouraged by everyone, Van Trang agreed to participate on the condition that the scene must be truly necessary.

Before now, the actress has kept the habit of sending the script to her husband every time she films a new movie. Her spouse plays the role of advisor, giving her advice to help her have more material and better emotions when transforming into a role.

Van Trang's current attitude towards her career is easy, without putting pressure on herself. When she was young, the actress had many career ambitions, hoping to take part in many projects both domestically and internationally. When she got married, she had to put everything aside to fulfill her responsibilities as a housewife.

Van Trang's career stagnation has made many people regret. However, she believes that everything in life happens at the right time. The actress learns to accept all changes around her with gratitude.

The most difficult period for Van Trang was when she went from being a single girl to getting married and giving birth to children. Everything was the first time, making her confused and bewildered. When she passed that milestone, she clearly felt that her life had turned to a new page.

Being a wife and mother of four children has changed Van Trang a lot. She lives responsibly, knows how to think and mature, and thanks to that she clearly feels the meaning of life.

Being a "rich woman" but not happy, being pampered by a businessman husband

At the age of 35, Van Trang owns a dream home. She lives in a 1,000m2 villa, is the owner of a 50,000m2 (5ha) eco-tourism area in her hometown of Tien Giang and a spa facility... Many people tease the actress as the "rich lady" of Vietnamese showbiz.

The actress is lucky and successful. However, to achieve that result, she had to sacrifice a lot of health, intelligence and money. Van Trang has family and relatives to support her, helping her work run smoothly.

“Many people say Van Trang lives a very happy life. I don’t deny it, but that doesn’t mean that happiness falls from the sky. Every day, I’m busy and don’t have time for myself,” she said.

Even though she is the boss, Van Trang does almost everything herself. When there are many customers, the actress rolls up her sleeves to serve, wait tables or clean the kitchen...

While many other actors always wear silk clothes and shop for expensive branded goods, Van Trang's image of being "busy from morning to night" sometimes makes her forget she is an actress.

Van Trang believes that each person has a different perception of happiness. Some people consider a leisurely life, free from work, to be a joy. But for actors, being busy is what makes this life truly meaningful.

In marriage, couples inevitably have disagreements. Over time, they gradually reconcile, trying to find common ground instead of just looking at the differences, which can easily cause feelings to drift apart.

“Up to this point, I feel happy. The man beside me brings me security, I don’t have to worry about where he goes, what he does with whom… That has helped me a lot,” the actress born in 1990 expressed.

Her husband goes to work every morning and supports Van Trang every evening. He encourages the actress mentally, pampers her, and takes the initiative to do housework and take care of the children so she can have more time to rest.

For her part, Van Trang has always built trust in her husband. For the past 10 years, she has put aside all entertainment and outside relationships to prioritize her small family.

She often has the habit of writing out a timetable and schedule for 1 month, then sending it to the whole family to arrange together.

The couple tries to remind each other to maintain the romance in their marriage. Since they live close to their parents, they often leave their children with them. They still go on dates, eat out, and travel to create a private atmosphere and “rekindle” their feelings.

"I don't seek great and noble happiness. I just need to wake up every day and find peace in my soul and life, that's enough," Van Trang confided.
