According to the Decision, adjusting a number of land use indicators until 2025 is allocated by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 326/QD-TTg dated March 9, 2022 for provinces and centrally run cities, the Ministry of Public Security .

Specifically, for Dien Bien province, the adjusted land use target until 2025 is as follows: Agricultural land 893,853 ha; non-agricultural land 31,662 ha, of which security land 458 ha.

For Lai Chau province, the adjusted land use target until 2025 is as follows: Agricultural land 668,918 ha; non-agricultural land 44,166 ha, of which security land 124 ha, land for national infrastructure development 12,478 ha.

For Son La province, the adjusted land use target by 2025 is as follows: Agricultural land 1,148,854 ha, of which production forest land is 280,674 ha; non-agricultural land 71,787 ha, of which security land is 655 ha...

(Details on adjusting some land use indicators up to 2025 are in the Appendix attached to this Decision); the remaining land use indicators are implemented according to Decision No. 326/QD-TTg dated March 9, 2022 of the Prime Minister.

Adjusting land use indicators does not change the goals, vision, and identified projects.

The Decision clearly states that the adjustment of some land use indicators up to 2025 of provinces and centrally-run cities and the Ministry of Public Security does not change the goals, spatial orientation, vision, land use indicators, and projects identified in the provincial planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050.

Based on the land use allocation targets in this Decision, the Minister of National Defense and the Minister of Public Security shall urgently complete the development of the 5-year defense land use plan for 2021-2025 and the 5-year security land use plan for 2021-2025.

The Provincial People's Committee urgently completes the 5-year land use plan for 2021 - 2025 at the provincial level to ensure compliance with allocated land use targets and synchronization and consistency with land use planning and plans at all levels.

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment monitors, updates changes, evaluates implementation results, inspects the implementation of land use planning and plans, synthesizes reports and proposes the Government and the Prime Minister to consider and flexibly adjust targets between localities that have not used or used ineffectively for localities with opportunities to attract investment, exploit and use land resources effectively for socio-economic development associated with environmental protection and sustainable development; presides over and coordinates with relevant ministries and branches to synthesize and advise the Government to submit to the National Assembly for consideration and adjustment of land use planning and plans until 2030.
