HHT - The Vietnam
Military History Museum impresses with its grand scale and modern design. In addition to more than 150,000 artifacts, the museum also attracts visitors by offering different experiences by integrating 3D technology and virtual reality (VR).
Vibrant experiential space Located in a prime location on Thang Long Avenue, Nam Tu Liem District (Hanoi), with a total construction cost of about 2,500 billion VND, the Vietnam Military History Museum is expected to become an attractive cultural destination, opening up an exciting journey
to explore the heroic history of the nation.

Impressive, eye-catching architecture of the Vietnam Military History Museum. |
Entering the museum, visitors are immersed in an epic space, where the heroic history of the Vietnamese people is vividly recreated, taking viewers through each ups and downs of history.
 |
The photo of Saigon people attending a rally to celebrate the complete liberation of the South (1975), ending a fierce period of war, left a strong impression on viewers. |
The museum is designed as a historical journey, taking visitors through 6 stages of the country's development, from the period of founding and defending the country to the current period of building and defending the Fatherland. Each theme is meticulously designed, creating a vivid panorama.
 |
The rich number of artifacts helps the museum authentically recreate historical events, from everyday objects... |

- ... to weapons and production tools, helping viewers visualize more clearly the lives of Vietnamese people in each historical period.
|
A special highlight of the museum is the unique interactive space, allowing visitors to freely explore and experience, completely different from traditional museums.
Instead of just seeing images through books or screens, touching and feeling some artifacts helps visitors feel clearly and easily imagine how ancient people used these items, thereby having more realistic and vivid experiences.
Virtual reality simulation technology brings visitors into a "time machine", returning to heroic historical moments and exploring fierce battlefields of the past. The LED screen system plays historical documents throughout or displays 3D maps to enhance the visual effect.

The Vietnam Military History Museum built a realistic and impressive scene of Bach Mai hospital being bombed in 1972, helping historical knowledge become closer to students. |
Although highly appreciated for its scale and design, the museum still receives some feedback from visitors about some unfinished points. Specifically, the museum area is very large, but the lack of food selling areas is a limitation, especially for families with small children. Sharing with
Hoa Hoc Tro , many parents expressed inconvenience when there are no areas selling snacks.
Ms.
Ngoc Anh shared:
"The Museum's addition of snack shops in the future will help improve the experience for families with young children. Children will also have enough energy to explore all the interesting things here." |
The failure of the information booth at the Museum has significantly affected the visitor experience. Many people want to learn more about the exhibits but do not have the information to support them. |
In addition, some electronic information booths providing detailed information about the history and origin of artifacts occasionally have technical problems, making it difficult for visitors to find information. The fact that the Vietnam Military History Museum attracts a large number of visitors is a good sign, showing the public's interest in national history. However, the large number of visitors makes the space for movement narrow. Phone signals are also weak when entering some closed or crowded exhibition rooms.

According to the reporter's records on November 2, some children got lost from their parents when the number of visitors was too large. However, the museum quickly deployed a loudspeaker system, continuously broadcasting information to find relatives, helping the children find their parents soon. |
Limitations in the early opening period were inevitable, but the interest and enthusiastic support of the people were a great source of motivation for the Museum to constantly improve and develop.
The Vietnam Military History Museum will be open every day of the week, free of charge until the end of December this year. Reception hours: Morning - from 8:00 to 11:30, afternoon - from 13:00 to 16:30. tienphong.vn
