Episode 3 of Voices of Galaxy - Samsung's inspirational series opens in a circus space, where Phung Minh Cuong, an artist with bright eyes reflecting the fire of passion and creativity, uses the Galaxy Z Flip7 to replay rehearsal moments with powerful yet calculated movements. Amidst the thoughts in his head, he asks the question: "How to create an explosive visual effect?"

Cuong is a young circus artist who is used to using his body to tell stories. But to take Vietnamese circus further, he knows that skills alone are not enough. Circus needs the aesthetics, emotions and colors of a new generation. That means he has to leave his “safe place” and talk to his own boundaries, from there experimenting to tell a completely different circus story.

Creative Gen Z: A generation that is not afraid to break out of the mold

If there is a generation that is right to talk about limits and breakthroughs, it is Gen Z. They grew up in the age of images, motion and social media, where ideas are spread more strongly than ever. From indie music products to bold fashion concepts, from content creators to visual artists, Vietnamese Gen Z is creating its own waves with confidence, speed and the ability to constantly innovate.

However, they are also the generation that faces the most fierce challenges. The competition in today's creative market makes it possible for anyone to be "swallowed up" if they cannot maintain their own uniqueness. The public is increasingly strict when consuming creative content. And in that vortex, Gen Z must learn to talk to their own limits.

Talk to yourself to find out the limits you need to overcome

Phung Minh Cuong’s story is not just a story of Vietnamese circus. It is a metaphor for all creative young people who are facing the question: “Go ahead or stop?”, “Safe or new?”, “Technique or emotion?”. And like Cuong, Gen Z is gradually realizing that the limits they face are not to hinder, but to challenge each person’s ability to innovate.

Technology becomes the “lever” to unlock new levels of creativity

Volume 3 Voices of Galaxy takes a subtle approach: technology gently stands behind the scenes, like a friend shedding light on the artist's unfinished thoughts.

When Cương asked Gemini Live how to create explosive visual effects, the AI didn’t rewrite the script for him. Instead, Gemini suggested new perspectives, from the use of lasers, colors, moving lights, to visual rhythms synchronized with the artist’s body. These concepts don’t replace human creative thinking, but rather trigger things he’d never imagined with his naked eyes before.

Technology is not a shortcut, but a “lever” to expand the creative range. From stage construction, lighting design, moodboarding, to concept writing and storyboarding, AI helps shorten time, reduce pressure, and speed up experimentation. That gives creators exactly what they need: space to experiment, fail, and be ready to do it again. It is in this ability to experiment tirelessly that true breakthroughs are born.

From the story of Vietnamese circus to the lesson of breakthrough

In the creative world , “breaking through” is not about creating something that no one has done before. Breaking through is about daring to do what you believe in at the right time. For Cuong, breaking through is about helping to take circus out of its familiar image and injecting it with a contemporary perspective. For a photographer, it might be about changing the perspective. For a dancer, it is about breaking the old movement structure.

"Folding limits, opening breakthroughs" in art

What they have in common is this: breakthroughs start with facing your own limits. Limits can be your safety, your fear of being judged, or your old habits. When you dare to face them, a new journey begins. And technology is always there to help new thoughts form, to help inspiration be illustrated into clear pictures.

Vietnamese Gen Z is living in a golden age of creativity, where technology allows them to experiment, fail, iterate and break through. Is there any limit to the transformation of creative people? In episode 3 of Voices of Galaxy, Phung Minh Cuong's answer is simple: there is no limit strong enough to stop young people from moving forward, when they dare to ask the right questions and dare to seek answers in their own way.

Continuing the story of 'Honoring Vietnamese values' conveyed in the first half of 2025, Samsung goes further into urging practical actions, empowering silent but extraordinary efforts to speak up, inspiring each individual to strive together through the Voices of Galaxy campaign.

Voices of Galaxy is an inspirational film series consisting of 10 stories, 10 voices of characters with different starting points but are writing their own journey of 'growing up' with the companionship of Galaxy AI and Gemini Live. From there, the campaign inspires Vietnamese people to take bold steps to develop, create, and act, to elevate and spread national values, so that these values shine brighter on the global stage.
