WATCH CLIP :
On July 10, District 1 Police, Ho Chi Minh City, were still coordinating with Ben Thanh Ward Police to investigate the above brawl and invited those involved to come in for questioning.
Previously, a clip of a fight in the center of Ho Chi Minh City was circulated on social media. According to the clip, a woman holding a baseball bat fought with a man holding a short piece of wood.
The fight took place in the middle of the street, with many people passing by. The man in the clip tried to grab the baseball bat from the woman's hand but failed and fell to the sidewalk. At this time, a young man nearby intervened to stop it.
It is known that immediately after the incident, District 1 Police coordinated with Ward Police to investigate and handle the case. Police determined that the incident in the clip occurred on the evening of June 3 on Huyen Tran Cong Chua Street, Ben Thanh Ward, District 1. The man in the clip is Mr. Phan Van L., and the woman is Phan Thanh T. The two have an uncle-niece relationship and run a sports goods store on Huyen Tran Cong Chua Street.
Before the incident, Ms. T. had an argument with Mr. L.'s wife over the phone and then at Mr. L.'s store. Afterwards, a fight broke out between the uncle and nephew as reported on social media.
So far, the police have invited the relevant parties to work, confiscated a baseball bat from Ms. T., a piece of wood about 40cm long from Mr. L. and extracted camera images around the area. At the same time, they requested an assessment of Mr. L.'s injuries to have a basis for handling the case according to the law.
