Red flag with yellow star decorations flood the streets of Hanoi

Towards the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, in Hanoi, shirts printed with patriotic slogans, fashion accessories inspired by the national flag, check-in spaces nostalgic for Hanoi in 1945... have become "hot" products and services today.

According to records, many fashion stores sell and rent costumes in the patriotic collection inspired by the red flag with yellow star, with diverse prices, ranging from 50,000 - 300,000 VND. The slogans "Independence - Freedom", "Proud of Vietnam" ... are printed on many products such as T-shirts, hats, cloth bags ...

Do Hong Nhung (23 years old, Hanoi ) shared: “I bought a T-shirt with the words “Vietnamese” printed on it and a hat painted in the colors of the flag to watch the parade on September 2. Wearing these outfits doubles my patriotism.”

Decorated with red flags with yellow stars and patriotic slogans, many coffee shops in Hanoi have created cakes and drinks with two main colors of red and yellow, attracting many young people to enjoy and check-in, with prices ranging from 50,000 - 80,000 VND/product.

The closer to National Day, the busier the national flag factory of Mr. Nguyen Van Trung (Chuong Duong, Hanoi). 15 workers work overtime at night to cut, sew, and package, producing more than 1,000 flags every day to send to all provinces and cities.

To meet the increasing demand, on Bang Liet Street, the “I’m Good” project of the disadvantaged group at the Leather Hospital workshop is promoting the production of the “Vietnam Oh” collection with prices ranging from 300,000 to over 1 million VND, including key chains, bags, and phone cases printed with the flag. Mr. Nguyen Van Phuc, the workshop owner, said: “After 1 month, many customers have ordered the product in large quantities as gifts for relatives and partners.”

According to sociologist Nguyen Thieu Tuan Long ( Hue University), integrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2) into business activities not only increases the market appeal of the holiday but also connects consumption with national cultural values.
