Doan Thanh Tung finished second in the final round of Road to Olympia 2025

After 4 thrilling and dramatic rounds of the Road to Olympia 2025 final round that took place on the morning of October 26, Doan Thanh Tung - a 12th grade Biology student at Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted - Nam Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa province, was the runner-up in the "mountain climbing team".

The contestants went through 4 rounds: Warm-up, Overcoming obstacles, Acceleration, Finishing. With a wide range of knowledge, solid and safe playing tactics, confidence and courage, after the warm-up round with a score of 30 points, Thanh Tung excelled and took the lead in the Overcoming obstacles and Acceleration rounds.

After the final round, contestant Tran Bui Bao Khanh ( Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, Hanoi) finished first with 215 points; Thanh Tung ranked second with 210 points. The two contestants ranked third were Le Quang Duy Khoa (Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted, Hue City) and Nguyen Nhat Lam (Cai Be High School, Dong Thap Province) with scores of 180 and 205 points respectively.
