Dien Bien Youth Union members respond to the Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign

Mr. Dang Thanh Huy, Secretary of Dien Bien Provincial Youth Union, said: The 2025 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign is widely deployed throughout the province, including 1 exam season support program and 4 key campaigns: Green Summer, Red Flamboyant, Green March and Pink Vacation.

Secretary of Dien Bien Provincial Youth Union Dang Thanh Huy called on union members and young people to actively respond to the campaign with specific actions and deeds to contribute to building Dien Bien homeland to become more and more prosperous.

Closely following the content of the program and 4 campaigns, Dien Bien Provincial Youth Union calls on each youth union member to promote their youth strength, choose specific actions and work to contribute to the implementation of youth campaigns and programs. Through the actions and work of each individual, each youth union member will make an important contribution to the implementation of socio -economic development goals and tasks, while resolving backlogs and problems at the grassroots level.

Throughout the summer of 2025, Dien Bien Provincial Youth Union and all levels of the Youth Union in the province will focus on implementing the following activities: Supporting candidates in difficult circumstances to participate in the national high school graduation exam, university and college admissions and the 10th grade entrance exam; joining hands to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas; participating in environmental protection, responding to climate change; maintaining traffic order and safety; caring for children; supporting social security; organizing voluntary blood donation campaigns, medical examination and treatment, and free medicine distribution; gratitude activities.

At the campaign launch ceremony, Dien Bien Provincial Youth Union initiated the tree planting movement "Forever grateful to Uncle Ho" to spread the message "Each union member, youth, and child should actively plant, care for, and protect trees at offices, schools, and places of residence and work".

Responding to the Summer Volunteer Program, on May 25, hundreds of union members and young people from communes in the border district of Muong Nhe volunteered to participate in activities of cleaning and protecting the environment; planting trees in the campuses of agencies, units and schools in the district.

On the same day, the Provincial Youth Union, Party Committee and People's Committee of Leng Su Sin commune (Muong Nhe district) held the inauguration ceremony of the project "Lighting up the border"; visited and presented gifts to policy families, people with revolutionary contributions and students with difficult circumstances in Leng Su Sin commune.
