On the journey to build organic agriculture in Ha Tinh, Que Lam Group Joint Stock Company has accompanied people to deploy production linkage models and initially achieved results.
In the summer-autumn crop of 2023, the Van Cuu Village Organic Rice Production Cooperative (Khanh Vinh Yen Commune) cooperated with Que Lam Group to test organic rice production on an area of 2 hectares.
In recent times, many organic and organic production models have been formed in Ha Tinh , in which Que Lam Group Joint Stock Company (Que Lam Group - Thua Thien Hue) is a pioneer, accompanying and sharing experiences, techniques and linking livestock and crop production with the people.
Currently, Que Lam Group has deployed organic and organic cultivation models in 6 districts: Vu Quang, Can Loc, Huong Son, Cam Xuyen, Ky Anh with a total area of 500 hectares (using Que Lam organic fertilizer), of which the area for planting 100% of Que Lam fertilizer and process is 70 hectares.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hieu - a direct member of the organic rice production cooperative model in Van Cuu village, Khanh Vinh Yen commune (Can Loc) said: “With the aim of producing safe and high-quality rice, the Van Cuu organic rice production cooperative was established in 2022 and we were organized by the Can Loc District Women's Union to visit and study the organic production models of Que Lam Group. In the summer-autumn crop of 2023, the cooperative conducted a pilot organic rice production in association with Que Lam Group on an area of 2 hectares. By the spring crop of 2024, the cooperative had expanded to 5 hectares of organic production and 15 hectares in the organic direction. In addition, in the district, there are 3 other communes that have also mobilized people to produce according to this model".
The whole province currently has 12 households associated with Que Lam Group to raise bio-safe organic pigs.
At the same time, up to now, there are 12 households raising bio-safe organic pigs in the province, cooperating with Que Lam Group with a total of 65 sows and 1,300 pigs. According to the assessment, the pig herd is growing well, the households have vegetable and banana gardens, linking livestock with cultivation, creating circular organic agricultural production models, strictly following the production process, no incidents or risks. Linking production with agricultural product consumption, up to now, many stores selling organic agricultural products of Que Lam have been established in Ha Tinh, contributing to bringing safe agricultural products to consumers.
Mr. Truong Xuan Ha - owner of a safe agricultural products store in Ha Tinh City said: "Along with the pig farming partnership with Que Lam Group, we have recently opened a safe agricultural food store, introducing and providing consumers with clean products, especially Que Lam organic pork, products processed from raw materials and technology of Que Lam Group such as: spring rolls, sausages, tree sausages...".

In 2024, Que Lam Group plans to continue developing organic production models, including expanding 203 hectares of organic and organically oriented rice production in 6 districts, replicating the model of seedling trays and transplanting and treating fields with effective microorganisms, enhancing rice preservation and processing services in Cam Vinh commune (Cam Xuyen); expanding nearly 100 hectares of watermelon, orange, guava and 8.5 hectares of corn and soybean; forming a raw material area for organic animal feed production.
In the field of livestock, the company strives to increase the number of sows in Ha Tinh to 162 by 2025, providing more than 2,000 pigs for meat each year. At the same time, it will improve the quality of the sow herd, apply black soldier fly pupa powder to completely replace fish meal to reduce feed consumption and apply microbiological technology to current conventional livestock farming methods...
Loc Ha District People's Committee and Que Lam Group Joint Stock Company concluded a cooperation program on building and developing organic agriculture in May 2023.
Mr. Nguyen Hong Lam - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Que Lam Group affirmed: "Que Lam Group will continue to accompany and promote awareness raising for officials and people in the production and consumption of organic agricultural products; guide and train people on techniques in organic farming and livestock farming; replicate organic agricultural production models according to the production chain linked to product consumption".
According to Mr. Nguyen Quang Tho - Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development: “Developing organic agriculture is an inevitable trend of agriculture. Currently, Ha Tinh has many organic and organic production models, in which Que Lam Group has models of rice production, fruit trees, and pig farming. The models are all maintained and developed, this is a good result for the province's agricultural sector. Ha Tinh is also building an Organic Agriculture Project in the province for the period 2023 - 2030. In the coming time, it is recommended that localities pay attention to implementing the project, directing the formation of stores introducing clean agricultural products, organic agriculture; promoting awareness for all levels, sectors, producers and farmers in the production and use of organic products".
In Ha Tinh, 60 organic production models have been established in localities, including 47 rice, vegetable and fruit production models in 10 districts, towns and cities with a total area of 421.13 hectares (including organic production and organic farming) and 13 organic pig farming models. |
