Compared to the Vietnamese futsal team (ranked 31st in the world ), the "blue team" Kazakhstan is considered much stronger when it is ranked 7th in the world futsal rankings. In addition to outstanding stars, the Kazakhstan futsal team also has many talented naturalized Brazilian stars.

However, the team that started the game better and opened the score was the Vietnam futsal team. In the 15th minute of the first half, when goalkeeper Leo Higuita, known as the world's number 1, advanced, Kazakhstan lost the ball very carelessly. It was not until the 32nd minute of the match that Kazakhstan's top strikers were able to defeat goalkeeper Ho Van Y and tie the score 1-1.

However, unexpected developments occurred at the end of the match. When the match was just over 1 minute away from ending, the Vietnamese futsal team unexpectedly took a 2-1 lead with a beautiful long-range shot by Chau Doan Phat.

Trailing with just over a minute left, Kazakhstan was forced to leave the goal open and play power play. Unable to score any more goals, the world's 7th-ranked team even conceded two more goals when the goal was left open. One of them was scored by goalkeeper Ho Van Y. In the end, the Vietnamese futsal team surprisingly won 4-1 against Kazakhstan.
