Cleaning up Loc Ha beach after days of volatile weather

To clean up Loc Ha beach ( Ha Tinh ) after days of big waves, rain, and Nghen river flooding, union members, youth union members, officers and soldiers volunteered to clean up the environment.

Rake up dead water hyacinths and other plant debris that has washed ashore.

On the morning of August 16, the District Labor Federation, District Youth Union, and Cua Sot Border Guard Station called on and mobilized more than 100 union members, youth union members, and border guards to participate in collecting trash along Loc Ha beach.

Collect and classify domestic waste on sea dike roofs.

After more than 2 hours of cleaning, more than 3 tons of various types of waste, water hyacinth, mollusk shells... on the coastal area, dike roof, and embankment surface from Thach Kim commune to Thinh Loc commune (about 4 km long) were collected. The collected waste was classified, buried or gathered to be transported to the centralized landfill in Hong Loc for treatment.

Dig holes to bury biodegradable waste.

This is a meaningful activity that contributes to cleaning the beach, attracting tourists, raising awareness of environmental protection, and overcoming the problem of littering by people.
