Accordingly, comrade Ho Trong Phuong, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Quang Ngai province (old) was appointed to hold the position of Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Quang Ngai province (new, after merger).
Announcing the decisions to appoint Deputy Directors of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Quang Ngai province, including comrades: Nguyen Duc Trung, Nguyen Quang Trung, Dang Tran Huan, Huynh Van Liem, A Byot, Nguyen Duc Binh, Vo Minh Vuong.
The Department of Agriculture and Environment of Quang Ngai province was established on the basis of merging the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Quang Ngai province (old) with the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Kon Tum province (old), with more than 2,000 cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers. The unit officially came into operation from July 1, 2025.
The Department of Agriculture and Environment of Quang Ngai province is a specialized agency under the Provincial People's Committee, performing the function of advising and assisting the Provincial People's Committee in state management of: agriculture; forestry; salt industry; fisheries; irrigation; rural clean water supply; dykes; natural disaster prevention and control; poverty reduction; rural development; land; water resources; mineral and geological resources; environment; hydrometeorology; climate change; surveying and mapping; integrated management of resources and protection of the marine and island environment; remote sensing; state management of public services in the fields under its management according to the provisions of law.
