Comrade Lo Van Phuong inspects the progress of key transportation projects in Dien Bien district.

Comrade Lo Van Phuong, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council (fourth from the left), inspects the road project from National Highway 279 (Meteorological Station) to the center of Pu Tuu, Thanh Xuong commune.

Reporting to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, the leaders of the Dien Bien District Project Management Board stated that the unit is the investor of the project to build a road from National Highway 279 (at the meteorological station) to the center of Pu Tuu, Thanh Xuong commune. The project has a total investment of 22 billion VND; a total length of over 1.6 km, including a main route of 1.25 km; a roadbed width of 7.5 m, and an asphalt surface width of 5.5 m. To date, over 90% of the work has been completed. The District Project Management Board is urging the contractor to accelerate the construction progress, striving to complete the project before November 10th, 20 days ahead of schedule.

Comrade Lo Van Phuong acknowledged and highly appreciated the coordination between the investor and the contractor in the construction of the road from National Highway 279 to the center of Pu Tuu. He also requested relevant units to improve the efficiency and quality of investment and construction management to ensure the project is completed on schedule and with high quality.
