Comrade Lo Van Phuong inspected the progress of key traffic projects in Dien Bien district.

Comrade Lo Van Phuong, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council (4th from left) inspected the road project from National Highway 279 (Meteorological Station) to Pu Tuu center, Thanh Xuong commune.

Reporting to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, the leader of the Project Management Board of Dien Bien District said: The unit is the investor of the project to build a road from National Highway 279 (location of the Meteorological Station) to the center of Pu Tuu, Thanh Xuong Commune. The project has a total investment of 22 billion VND; total length of more than 1.6km, of which the main route is 1.25km; roadbed width is 7.5m, asphalt surface is 5.5m wide. To date, the project has completed over 90% of the volume. The District Project Management Board is urging the contractor to speed up the construction progress, striving to complete before November 10, 20 days ahead of schedule.

Comrade Lo Van Phuong acknowledged and highly appreciated the coordination between the investor and contractor in implementing the construction of the road from National Highway 279 to Pu Tuu center. At the same time, he requested relevant units to improve the efficiency and quality of construction investment management to ensure the completion of quality projects on schedule.
