Election of additional members to the Provincial Party Standing Committee

On August 21, the Provincial Party Committee held its 54th meeting to carry out the process of electing additional members to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term. Comrade Trinh Thi Minh Thanh, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, presided over the meeting.

Delegates voted to elect additional members to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

Following the prescribed procedure for nominating additional members to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, on July 19, 2024, the Central Organization Department issued a document agreeing to the proposal to nominate Comrade Diep Van Chien, Provincial Party Committee member and Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Department, to be elected to the Standing Committee of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

Based on Regulation No. 24-QD/TW dated July 30, 2021, of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam on the implementation of the Party Charter and Decision No. 244-QD/TW dated June 9, 2014, of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam on the promulgation of the Regulations on elections within the Party, at the conference, the Provincial Party Committee carried out the process of electing additional members to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

Comrade Trinh Thi Minh Thanh, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, delivered a speech at the conference.

With a spirit of democratic focus, objectivity, openness, transparency, unity, and responsibility, 100% of the members of the Provincial Party Committee present voted unanimously to elect Comrade Diep Van Chien, Provincial Party Committee member and Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Department, as an additional member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee.

Speaking at the conference, Comrade Trinh Thi Minh Thanh, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, emphasized: Cadre work is a key factor in Party building, ensuring continuity, development, and a smooth and stable transition between generations of cadres, maintaining internal unity and political stability in the province. She expressed her hope that Comrade Diep Van Chien would continue to strive, promote the spirit of unity, and work together with the Provincial Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to successfully complete the assigned tasks.
