Dong Nai has 166 collectives and individuals registered to support over 71 billion VND to implement the program Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses.

Accordingly, Dong Nai has 265 cases in the program of Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the province. Districts and cities have proactively connected resources to build and repair 48 houses. As for the remaining 217 cases, the Provincial Fund Mobilization Committee for the Poor has completed transferring 12.66 billion VND to localities to support people to build solid houses. Specifically, poor households, near-poor households, and people in difficult circumstances are supported with 80 million VND for house construction and 30 million VND for repairs.

According to the plan, the construction of houses for poor households, near-poor households, and families in difficult circumstances will be completed in May and June. Currently, the province is continuing to review and count poor, near-poor, and disadvantaged families that need support to build solid houses according to regulations to provide timely assistance.
