Dong Thap is focusing on speeding up the progress of social housing projects.

Accordingly, Binh Thanh 1 and 2 Social Housing Project is located in Binh Thanh Commune, Dong Thap Province. The goal of building a social housing area is to serve the housing needs of people and workers in and outside the area.

Accordingly, Binh Thanh 1 Social Housing Project has a land use area of ​​about 9.93 hectares, with about 816 units/apartments, including: 100 townhouses; high-rise apartment buildings of about 138 apartments; low-rise apartment buildings of about 578 apartments. The planned population is expected to be 3,264 people. The total investment capital is expected to be more than 969 billion VND.

For the Binh Thanh 2 Social Housing Project, the project has a land use area of ​​about 9.83 hectares, with about 828 units, including: 106 townhouses; high-rise apartment buildings with about 134 apartments; low-rise apartment buildings with about 588 apartments. The planned population is expected to be 3,312 people. The total investment capital is expected to be about 986 billion VND.

Binh Thanh 1 and 2 Social Housing Project will be implemented from the second quarter of 2027 to the second quarter of 2029; the construction investment project will be completed in the third quarter of 2029.
