The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has just issued Decision No. 64 on organizing a film screening to commemorate the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2024) and to celebrate the Lunar New Year 2024.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism assigned the Cinema Department to preside over and coordinate with the following units: Vietnam Film Association Film Studio, HDA Film Company Limited, Central Documentary and Scientific Film Company Limited, Vietnam Animation Film Joint Stock Company, Departments of Culture and Sports, Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Film Distribution and Screening Centers, Cinema Centers, Culture - Cinema Centers, Culture - Arts Centers, and Cultural Centers of provinces and centrally-administered cities to organize the film screening event.
Among the films selected for screening this time is the feature film "Thau Chin in Siam," produced by the Vietnam Film Association and released in 2015. This film, commissioned by the State, tells the story of President Ho Chi Minh , under the pseudonym Thau Chin, operating in Thailand from July 1928 to November 1929.
In addition, this film screening also includes the documentaries: "Hanoi , Capital of Culture ," produced by HDA Film Company Limited; " The Road to WTO ," produced by the Central Documentary and Scientific Film Company Limited; and the animated films "A Dreamy Sky" and "Emperor Dinh Tien Hoang," produced by Vietnam Animation Film Company Limited.
The film screenings will take place nationwide from February 3rd to 16th, 2024. In Hanoi, the films will be shown at the National Film Center, 87 Lang Ha Street.
