Coffee prices on the London floor, at 4:30 a.m. on January 17, 2025, Robusta coffee prices reversed and decreased, recorded as follows: March 2025 delivery price was 4,889 USD/ton, May 2025 delivery price was 4,846 USD/ton, July 2025 delivery price was 4,775 USD/ton and September 2025 delivery price was 4,689 USD/ton.
Similarly, the price of Arabica coffee in New York on January 17, 2025 also tended to decrease. Specifically, the delivery period in March 2025 was 327.15 cents/lb, the delivery period in May 2025 was 323.15 cents/lb, the delivery period in July 2025 was 316.55 cents/lb and the delivery period in September 2025 was 307.95 cents/lb.
The price of Brazilian Arabica coffee fluctuates depending on the delivery period, recorded at 406.20 USD/ton for March 2025 delivery, 400.00 USD/ton for May 2025 delivery, 394.35 USD/ton for July 2025 and 381.70 USD/ton for September 2025.
Robusta coffee traded on the ICE Futures Europe (London exchange) opens at 16:00 and closes at 00:30 (next day) Vietnam time. Arabica coffee traded on the ICE Futures US (New York exchange) opens at 16:15 and closes at 01:30 (next day) Vietnam time. For Arabica coffee traded on the B3 Brazil exchange, it will open from 19:00 – 02:35 (next day) Vietnam time.
Domestic coffee prices rise again
According to information from Giacaphe.com, at 4:30 a.m. today, January 17, 2025, domestic coffee prices stabilized at an average of 116,100 VND/kg.
The highest coffee purchase price in the key regions of the Central Highlands was recorded at 114,500 VND/kg. Specifically, today's coffee price in Dak Lak is 116,000 VND/kg, in Lam Dong is 115,600 VND/kg, in Gia Lai is 116,000 VND/kg and in Dak Nong today is 116,300 VND/kg.
Coffee price forecast January 18, 2025
According to the forecast, domestic coffee prices on January 18, 2025 will continue to increase, the increase is from 800-1000 VND/kg, domestic coffee prices on January 18, 2025 are forecasted to have an average of 117,000 VND/kg.

In 2024, world coffee prices continued to set new records, mainly due to concerns about supply shortages from major exporting countries such as Vietnam and Brazil due to unfavorable weather.
The Import-Export Department - Ministry of Industry and Trade forecasts that in 2025, Vietnam's coffee exports will continue to grow as supply increases and consumer demand from countries around the world increases.
