Weather forecast in Hanoi for the upcoming 10th grade entrance exam days

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the weather during the 10th grade entrance exam in Hanoi will be hot and sunny with quite high temperatures. Temperatures range from 28-34 degrees Celsius, with the highest temperature being 36 degrees Celsius. There is a possibility of thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening on the last day of the exam (June 9).

The entrance exam for grade 10 of public high schools in Hanoi will take place from June 6-9. On June 6, candidates will complete the exam registration procedures, June 7-8 will be for general candidates, and June 9 will be for candidates taking the exam for specialized schools.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on June 6, Hanoi will have sunny weather, with the highest temperature of 33-34 degrees Celsius and light southeast wind.

In the middle of summer, Hanoi is experiencing a period of changing weather. Parents should take note to bring raincoats and umbrellas to take their children to the exam site and arrive early according to the time specified bythe education sector to ensure that the entrance exam is not affected.

Due to the hot weather, experts recommend that candidates wear comfortable, sweat-absorbent clothing and drink enough water to maintain the best condition in the exam room.

The 10th grade entrance exam for the 2025-2026 school year in Hanoi will take place on June 7-8 with 3 exams: Math, Literature, Foreign Language. Of which, Math and Literature will be essay tests (120 minutes), Foreign Language will be multiple choice (60 minutes).

Candidates taking the specialized exam will take the specialized subject test on June 9, lasting 150 minutes.

Hanoi expects nearly 104,000 candidates to register for the 2025-2026 high school entrance exam. The city has arranged 210 exam sites with more than 4,500 exam rooms. Candidates should note that at exactly 9:00 a.m. on June 6, all candidates must be present at the exam room to complete the exam procedures.
