(NLDO) – On the evening of October 6, People's Artist Trieu Trung Kien debuted his new brainchild at Dai Nam Theater – Hanoi amid enthusiastic cheers from the audience.

The 2019 Mai Vang Award for the play "Khau Vai Love Story" was the motivation for him to successfully stage the play "Fragments of Hanoi ".

People's Artist Trinh Thuy Mui, President of the Vietnam Stage Artists Association, came to congratulate the new work of Le Ngoc Stage, and congratulate the director - People's Artist Trieu Trung Kien.

Considered a stage work contributing to the celebration of the 1010th anniversary of Thang Long - Hanoi, "Fragments of Hanoi" by author Nguyen Thi Minh Thai has found sympathy from director - People's Artist Trieu Trung Kien and Le Ngoc Stage invited him to stage it.

The two sons grew up in hatred and war, pushing them into adversity and confronting each other.

Adapted from the short story "Tropical Monsoon" by writer Le Minh Khue, the play "Fragments of Hanoi" depicts a special story about war. Associate Professor - Dr. Nguyen Thi Minh Thai shared that it is a war between people of the same bloodline: "The battle line is split in two and people look at each other through blood-stained eyes, it is an internal war torn between the desire for revenge and the remaining humanity. All took place silently but intensely in the heart of the war against America, the tragedy of people and families is the "catalyst", contributing to exposing the nature of war, depicting in the play loss and separation.

But no matter how life and values change, in the end, love and forgiveness are still the warm, pink fire that warms people's hearts, helping them overcome the monsoon winds in the heart of the city. The "broken pieces" will eventually find their way back together, to be mended with the glue of human love, to make whole and intact the picture of love.
