In 2024, Duy Xuyen District Front directed the successful organization of the commune-level Front Congress, and at the same time successfully organized the District Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress for the 2024-2029 term.
The Front continues to propagate and mobilize people to donate 45,200m2 land, contributing 1,170 working days and nearly 12 billion VND to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas. Mobilizing more than 6.5 billion VND from the Fund for the Poor, thereby supporting 2,752 cases; coordinating the organization of dialogue forums and providing livelihoods to 49 poor and near-poor households with a total value of 310 million VND.
In addition, the Front organized the program "Tet for the poor" and zero-dong markets, giving away 29,287 gifts worth more than 15.5 billion VND. Coordinated with the District People's Committee to support the construction and repair of 154 temporary and dilapidated houses with a total amount of more than 6.2 billion VND. Mobilized support for people in the northern provinces and cities affected by storm Yagi with a total amount of more than 2.9 billion VND.
During the year, the District Front chaired 5 monitoring sessions, organized 3 feedback conferences, 3 dialogue conferences and forums to listen to people's opinions. Community investment monitoring boards monitored 32 projects; through monitoring, 4 projects had violations and sent recommendations to investors and contractors for correction.
At the conference, 20 collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in Front work in 2024 were commended and rewarded.
