According to the Nha Trang Bay Management Board, in recent days, coastal areas have seen large waves and adverse weather conditions, posing a potential safety risk. There have been two incidents of tourists being swept away by waves, fortunately they were rescued in time by rescue forces.

Most recently, at 11:45 on October 22, a 50-year-old Russian male tourist was swept away by a large wave at the Nha Trang Ward Park beach, falling into critical condition. Thanks to the timely rescue of the Rescue Team, the victim was out of danger.

The rescue team has placed warning signs along the coastal parks of Nha Trang and North Nha Trang wards. Hotels and coastal accommodation establishments are required to proactively inform visitors of weather conditions, and to advise against swimming in the sea when there is a danger warning, and to strictly follow the instructions of the authorities to ensure safety.
