In 10 years of operation, Sun World Fansipan Legend has not only contributed to preserving and promoting the natural and cultural values of the locality, but also contributed to bringing Sa Pa tourism and Lao Cai province to impressive growth figures and making Sa Pa a name of the continent. Specifically, in 2016, the Fansipan cable car brought Sa Pa tourism in particular to the milestone of 1.2 million visitors for the first time. In 2024, Sa Pa attracted nearly 4.2 million tourists, reaching over 20,000 billion VND, accounting for 59% of the total local budget revenue.
