The 2025 CFA International Futsal Tournament, organized by the Chinese Football Association to prepare for the 2026 Asian Futsal Qualifiers, gathered many strong teams. In Group B, the host of the 2026 Asian Futsal Championship - Indonesia defeated Myanmar, Cambodia and New Zealand to reach the final against Denmark.
In the 2nd minute of the match, Dewa Rizki opened the score after a pass from Reza Gunawan, before Reza himself doubled the gap in the 10th minute for Indonesia.
In the 17th minute, Reza continued to shine with a double, helping Indonesia lead 3-0. Before the end of the first half, Denmark promptly shortened the score to 1-3 thanks to Scott Rasmussen.

In the second half, the Indonesian futsal team maintained their dominance. In the 22nd minute, Andres Dwi Persada took advantage of the opponent's mistake to increase the score to 4-1. In the remaining time, Denmark only had another goal to equalize 2-4 in the 38th minute from Mikkel Foged Hansen.
With a 4-2 win, coach Muhammad Amril and his team excellently stepped up to the championship title, affirming their strength and having a thorough and serious preparation for the 2026 Asian Futsal Championship.
Before this continental tournament, the Vietnamese futsal team also went to Kuwait for training with 2 friendly matches with the host. In the first friendly match, Diego Giustozzi and his team won 3-2 with goals from Nguyen Thinh Phat, Trinh Cong Dai and Nguyen Da Hai.
In the 2026 Asian futsal qualifiers, the Vietnamese futsal team will compete for tickets to the final round with Lebanon, Hong Kong (China) and China - the host of Group E, starting from September 20.
