(Dan Tri Newspaper) - According to GSMArena, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra will be equipped with Color Filter on Encapsulation (CoE) screen technology.
Previously, Samsung has applied CoE display technology to some of its foldable phone models, starting with the Galaxy Z Fold3. The Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to be the company's first bar-style phone to use this technology.

CoE technology improves light transmission and makes OLED panels thinner. Additionally, Samsung has changed the pixel arrangement, thereby reducing screen glare.
This means the screen on the Galaxy S26 Ultra will have better display quality and higher brightness.
However, the report only mentions the Galaxy S26 Ultra version. Therefore, the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ models will most likely still use a standard AMOLED display.
In a recent announcement, Samsung stated that it will hold the Galaxy Unpacked event on January 23rd (Vietnam time). The invitation attracted attention with its four-pointed star icon, the logo of its Galaxy AI artificial intelligence feature.
This icon appears to be made up of the corners of four smartphones. This has fueled rumors that Samsung will launch four different variants of the Galaxy S25 series.
In previous years, Samsung only launched three variants for the Galaxy S series: the Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra. However, with the Galaxy S25 generation, the company may introduce an additional variant, the Galaxy S25 Slim, with an ultra-thin design.
