Nearly 7 billion VND to maintain the largest cable-stayed bridge in Quang Ngai

On February 20, Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province Dang Van Minh signed a decision approving the budget for public services to manage and regularly maintain Co Luy bridge and two parks on both sides of the bridge.

The Quang Ngai Department of Transport was assigned by the Provincial People's Committee to manage and maintain Co Luy Bridge and the parks on both sides of the bridge in 2024 with a budget of nearly 7 billion VND.

Accordingly, Quang Ngai province will spend nearly 6.8 billion VND from the transport budget to manage and maintain the Co Luy bridge and two parks north and south of the bridge.

Quang Ngai Department of Transport is assigned to manage and use the above capital to carry out management and maintenance of the project.

It is known that the Co Luy bridge project has an investment capital of 2,250 billion VND, invested by Quang Ngai province in 2017 and completed and put into use in 2020. This is the largest and only cable-stayed bridge project invested in Quang Ngai up to now.
