Pig price today November 25, 2024: Some provinces in the North and Central regions

Northern region

The price of live pigs today (November 25, 2024) in the Northern region recorded 6 provinces such as Yen Bai, Hung Yen, Hai Duong, Nam Dinh, Ha Nam and Hanoi City simultaneously decreased by 1,000 VND/kg.

Accordingly, the price of live pigs today in Hanoi, Hung Yen and Hai Duong, all returned to 62,000 VND/kg. Also recording this decrease, the provinces of Yen Bai, Ha Nam and Nam Dinh purchased live pigs at 61,000 VND/kg.

Currently, live pigs in this area are being purchased at around 61,000 - 63,000 VND/kg. Thai Nguyen is the only locality keeping transactions at 63,000 VND/kg, the highest in the region.

Central Highlands region

Similarly, the price of live pigs in the Central Highlands provinces today (November 25, 2024) also recorded a decrease in price in the same direction as the Northern region, when the three provinces of Quang Binh, Binh Dinh and Dak Lak simultaneously decreased by 1,000 VND/kg.

The price of live pigs in localities in this area ranges from 60,000 - 62,000 VND/kg. Dak Lak province is currently the only province in the country that buys and sells live pigs at 59,000 VND/kg.

Southern region

In the Southern region today (November 25, 2024), the price of live pigs fluctuated in opposite directions compared to the two regions above. When the two provinces of Bac Lieu and Soc Trang increased by 1,000 VND/kg, the price of live pigs reached 62,000 VND/kg and 63,000 VND/kg, respectively.

The remaining provinces and cities in the region kept prices stable at around 61,000 - 63,000 VND/kg. Of which, Binh Phuoc, Tien Giang, Tra Vinh and Ho Chi Minh City are selling live pigs at 61,000 VND/kg.
