Pig price today, November 8: recorded a slight downward trend in some localities in the North and Central regions, while the South region had no new fluctuations.

Pig price today in the North decreased slightly in many places

The price of live pigs in the North this morning recorded a slight decrease of 1,000 VND/kg in some places.

Specifically, pork prices in Ninh Binh and Phu Tho both decreased by VND1,000/kg, currently trading at VND50,000/kg.

Meanwhile, other localities such as Tuyen Quang, Cao Bang, Thai Nguyen, Lang Son, Quang Ninh, Hanoi , Hai Phong, Lao Cai, Dien Bien, Son La and Hung Yen continue to maintain the price at 50,000 VND/kg.

Pork prices in Bac Ninh remain at the highest level in the region at 51,000 VND/kg. Meanwhile, Lai Chau remains at the lowest level at 49,000 VND/kg.

Currently, the price of live pigs in the North fluctuates from 49,000 VND/kg to 51,000 VND/kg.

Pig price today in the Central Highlands continues to decrease

In the Central Highlands region, the price of live pigs this morning decreased slightly by 1,000 VND/kg in some provinces.

Specifically, pork prices in Thanh Hoa, Nghe An and Ha Tinh all decreased by VND1,000/kg, currently reaching VND49,000/kg in Thanh Hoa and Nghe An, and VND48,000/kg in Ha Tinh.

The remaining localities such as Quang Tri, Hue, Da Nang, Quang Ngai, Khanh Hoa and Lam Dong maintained the level of 49,000 VND/kg; while Gia Lai and Dak Lak still maintained the lowest level in the region at 48,000 VND/kg.

Pig prices in the Central Highlands region today fluctuate between 48,000 - 49,000 VND/kg.

Pig price in the South today remains stable

The southern pig market this morning continued to remain stable compared to yesterday.

Specifically, the price of live pigs in Tay Ninh and Ca Mau maintained the highest level in the region at 51,000 VND/kg.

Dong Nai, Dong Thap, An Giang and Ho Chi Minh City all recorded prices of 50,000 VND/kg.

Meanwhile, Can Tho traded at 49,000 VND/kg, while Vinh Long still maintained the lowest level in the region at 48,000 VND/kg.

Thus, the price of live pigs in the South today fluctuates between 48,000 - 51,000 VND/kg.
