Mekong Delta rice market is stable

According to the update on November 2, rice prices in the Mekong Delta region did not record many fluctuations. Transactions in the market were quite quiet, purchasing power at warehouses was weak and prices of rice remained stable compared to previous days.

In key localities such as An Giang and Dong Thap, buying and selling transactions are slow. At the ports in Lap Vo and Sa Dec (Dong Thap), the amount of rice arriving is not much and large warehouses are slow to buy. The same situation also occurs in An Cu (Dong Thap), where few warehouses are active in buying.
