World pepper price December 2: Indonesian market declines
Update on world pepper prices from the International Pepper Association (IPC) on the morning of December 2, 2025, today's exported pepper recorded strong fluctuations in the Indonesian market . Other markets have stable prices compared to yesterday's trading session.

Specifically, the price of Indonesian Lampung black pepper was traded at 6,989 USD/ton, down 2% compared to the previous session.
Similarly, the price of Muntok white pepper of this country also decreased sharply by 0.84% compared to yesterday, currently trading at 9,636 USD/ton.
Vietnam's white pepper price today remained unchanged, anchored at a high of 9,250 USD/ton.
The price of Vietnamese black pepper 500 gr/l remained unchanged compared to yesterday, reaching 6,500 USD/ton. Vietnamese black pepper 550 gr/l reached 6,700 USD/ton.
In Malaysia, the price of ASTA black pepper is currently stable at 9,200 USD/ton. The price of ASTA white pepper in this market today reached 12,300 USD/ton, unchanged from yesterday.
In Brazil, pepper prices remained around $6,100/ton, unchanged from yesterday.
Domestic pepper price today December 2: Sharp decrease
Meanwhile, the domestic pepper market price today ( December 2) also decreased sharply by 1,000 - 2,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday. Currently, the domestic pepper price is trading in the range of 148,500 - 150,000 VND/kg.

Specifically, in Gia Lai today, pepper is traded at 148,500 VND/kg, the deepest decrease in the country, down 2,000 VND/kg this morning.
Meanwhile, traders in Dak Lak and Lam Dong traded pepper at 150,000 VND/kg, down 1,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday. These are also the two localities with the highest pepper prices in the country today.
Dong Nai and Ho Chi Minh City today recorded pepper prices also decreasing by 1,000 VND/kg, currently trading at 149,000 VND/kg.
