Gasoline prices increased across the board, RON95-III up to 20,488 VND/liter

Specifically, E5RON92 gasoline has a ceiling price of 19,760 VND/liter, an increase of 710 VND/liter; RON95-III gasoline has a new price of 20,488 VND/liter, an increase of 762 VND/liter compared to the previous adjustment on October 23. Following the same trend as gasoline prices, diesel increased by 1,318 VND/liter, to 19,203 VND/liter; kerosene increased by 1,156 VND/liter, the new price is 19,271 VND/liter; mazut increased by 541 VND, to 14,639 VND/kg.

Since the beginning of the year, the price stabilization fund has remained unchanged, with no deductions or expenditures for petroleum products. A representative of the Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex) said that up to the time before the price adjustment, the balance of the price stabilization fund (BOG) at the enterprise was 3,085 billion VND.

According to the representative of the Ministry of Industry and Trade , in this management period, the plan to manage gasoline prices aims to ensure that domestic gasoline price fluctuations are consistent with world gasoline price fluctuations; continue to maintain the price difference between E5RON92 biofuel and RON95 mineral gasoline at a reasonable level to encourage the use of biofuels according to the Government's policy; ensure harmony of interests among market participants.

In the most recent adjustment on October 23, gasoline and oil prices decreased simultaneously, specifically E5RON92 gasoline decreased by 176 VND/liter; RON95-III gasoline decreased by 177 VND/liter; diesel oil price decreased by 538 VND/liter; kerosene decreased by 291 VND/liter and mazut oil decreased by 273 VND/kg.

According to Decree No. 80/2023/ND-CP amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree No. 95/2021/ND-CP dated November 1, 2021 and Decree No. 83/2014/ND-CP dated September 3, 2014 of the Government on petroleum trading, the time for managing petroleum prices is implemented every Thursday./.
