World oil prices

At 6:00 AM on November 27th, Brent crude oil prices fell by $0.20, or 0.27%, to $72.81 per barrel. WTI crude oil prices fell by 17 cents, or 0.25%, to $68.77 per barrel.

Oil prices continued to fall after Israel agreed to a ceasefire with Lebanon, reducing the risk to oil prices. The agreement is expected to take effect today. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he was ready to implement the ceasefire with Lebanon and would respond strongly to any violations by Hezbollah.

StoneX analyst Alex Hodes commented that the ceasefire could put pressure on crude oil prices, as the US administration may ease sanctions on Iranian oil.

In addition, OPEC and its allies (OPEC+) are still discussing further postponing their planned oil production increase, scheduled to begin in January 2025, ahead of their December 1 meeting to decide on policy for the early months of next year.

Analyst John Kilduff of Again Capital said: "The flame has been rekindled as OPEC+ continues to delay production increases and US President-elect Donald Trump plans to impose a 25% import tariff on Canada and Mexico, but that is still not enough to support WTI oil prices above $70 a barrel."

US crude oil inventories fell by 5.935 million barrels, while gasoline inventories rose by 1.814 million barrels and distillate product inventories increased by 2.543 million barrels.

Domestic fuel prices

In this price adjustment period, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance continue to neither allocate funds nor utilize the fuel price stabilization fund for these products.
