The 2025 National 7-a-side Football Championship is the largest in history

In its fourth year, the 2025 National 7-a-side Football Championship is the largest ever with 60 participating teams and 248 matches in 8 regions nationwide.

The 2025 National 7-a-side Football Championship - Dragon Cup 2025 (VPL-S6) will officially kick off on May 18 in 8 regions nationwide, including: Northern region ( Hanoi); Southern region (Ho Chi Minh City); Central Highlands region (Gia Lai); Western region (Can Tho); Northeast region (Hai Phong); North Central region (Nghe An); Central region (Da Nang) and South Central region (Khanh Hoa).

The region's strongest teams will continue to compete in the national finals taking place in Hanoi at the end of July.

A total of 60 teams are expected to compete in 248 matches, an increase of nearly 100 matches compared to the 2024 season.

This is the largest scale after 4 years the tournament was organized and received support for the organization from the Vietnam Sports Department.

This year’s tournament also held a special showmatch for the first time. The best faces of the 7-a-side tournament had the opportunity to compete alongside professional football stars, national and former national players of Vietnam.

All matches of the VPL-S6 tournament will be broadcast live on the ecosystem of MyTV and Meta Multimedia.

After the 2025 National 7-a-side Football Championship, SABECO and VietFootball will continue to organize the 3rd season of the 2025 International 7-a-side Football Championship in August, with the participation of representatives from Thailand, Indonesia, and Malaysia.

With the slogan "Football for the community", VPL-S6 continues to spread the spirit of sports, arouse passion for football and promote an active lifestyle in the community.
