Born in 1984, after graduating from Tay Bac University, Faculty of History Pedagogy, teacher Le Van Cuong worked at Thac Ba High School, Cam An High School, Yen Bai province (before the merger) and is currently working at the Center for Continuing Education, Lao Cai province.

During his teaching career, teacher Le Van Cuong realized that most students were “afraid” of learning History. Partly because of the amount of knowledge being too much, partly because of the traditional teaching method being dry, difficult to remember, and difficult to memorize. Therefore, teacher Le Van Cuong came up with the idea of ​​using six-eight verse to tell historical stories - to breathe new life into the subject, creating excitement for students to absorb knowledge better.

In 2016, Le Van Cuong published two collections of six-eight poems, "Outline of the World Epic" with 3,456 verses and "Vietnam in the Traces of Epics" with 36,888 verses. Le Van Cuong is also the first Yen Bai citizen to be recognized by the Vietnam Record Organization three times in 2016, 2018, 2022 as the person who wrote the longest six-eight poems in world history, Vietnamese history, and Yen Bai local history.

In the Vietnamese literary world, there are many writers of six-eight verse, but perhaps no one has devoted all his heart and soul to writing historical poetry like teacher Le Van Cuong. From 2016 to now, he has published 12 poetry collections, including 5 collections of six-eight verse poems about world history, Vietnamese history and Yen Bai history.

Teacher Le Van Cuong confided: I compose not only to satisfy my own passion, but also to convey historical stories in an easy-to-understand, vivid and emotional way to readers, especially the young generation, through the traditional six-eight verse form of the nation. I want history to no longer be dry numbers and events but to become close, easy to remember and move people's hearts, contributing to preserving and spreading love of history and national pride.
