Attending the opening ceremony were delegates: Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Director of Hanoi City Police, Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Quyen; Deputy Director of Hanoi Department of Education and Training Vuong Huong Giang - Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee; Permanent Vice President of Hanoi Journalists Association Kieu Thanh Hung; Chairman of Hanoi Football Federation To Van Dong; Department Head, Head of Nhan Dan Electronic Newspaper Nguyen Ngoc Thanh; Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Hanoi Moi Newspaper Lai Ba Ha and nearly 3,000 players along with a large number of teachers, students and fans from 125 high schools in the city.

Opening speech, Opening speech, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh - Head of the Editorial Board of An ninh Thu do - Head of the Organizing Committee of the tournament said that this year's tournament set a new record with 125 participating teams. Far exceeding the old record of 110 teams of the 2024 season. The teams were divided into 32 groups. Of which, 29 groups had four teams and 3 groups had three teams. The teams played a round robin to select the first and second teams to enter the second stage (64 teams).

"The number of participating teams and players has demonstrated the prestige and spread of a grassroots football tournament that has been maintained steadily since 2001. It is also a source of encouragement for those working at the Capital Security Newspaper for many generations, when they have created and maintained a healthy and beneficial playground for many generations of students for nearly a quarter of a century" - Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh emphasized.

Immediately after the Opening Ceremony, the 24th Hanoi - Capital Security High School Football Tournament 2025 Number 1 Active Cup entered the dramatic opening matches. The atmosphere at Xuan Dinh Stadium quickly exploded, turning this place into a colorful football festival, where the passion of thousands of students in the capital was lit up from the very first minutes. The tournament will take place from now until the end of December 2025.
