Disbursement of preferential loans for STEM students

On September 10, Dong Hy Social Policy Bank Transaction Office organized the disbursement of capital according to Decision No. 29/2025/QD-TTg dated August 28, 2025 of the Prime Minister on credit for students, master's students, and doctoral students in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM for short).

Dong Hy Social Policy Bank Transaction Office organizes disbursement of policy credit capital for students studying STEM majors.

Dong Hy Bank for Social Policies (BSP) Transaction Office is the first unit in the province to provide preferential credit loans to customers studying STEM.

At the transaction point, credit officers completed the documents and disbursed loans to the first three customers whose parents were the borrowers, with a total amount of nearly VND200 million, with an interest rate of 4.8% per year. The loans are used to support the cost of studying, living and related expenses during the study period at higher education institutions.

This credit program not only contributes to supporting the training of human resources in the STEM industry, effectively implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation, but also creates conditions for students, students and postgraduates in the STEM industry to have the opportunity to pursue their dreams of studying and researching.

The timely implementation of preferential credit policies for students affirms the companionship of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies in social security work and the development of high-quality human resources in the locality.
