The 10% discount program for train tickets is applied from May 28 to October 31 for students who buy tickets at railway stations (the discount program does not apply to tickets sold online). Each exam notice (or exam card) and admission notice of the student can buy 1 ticket for the student and 1 ticket for a relative traveling together for one round trip.
When purchasing train tickets, students provide exam notices, exam cards, admission notices and valid identification documents or student personal information on the VneID application.
General Director of Railway Transport Joint Stock Company Dao Anh Tuan shared that the Company always considers accompanying and supporting the young generation as an important responsibility in railway transport activities. The program of reducing ticket prices for students taking exams and entering school in 2025 is a sharing of the Railway industry, with the desire to add motivation and reduce some of the financial burden for students and their families on the journey to conquer knowledge.
“The Railway Industry is committed to providing safe and convenient train trips and hopes that the support will help students feel more confident, achieve the best results in the upcoming exams, as well as start a new exciting learning journey,” said Mr. Dao Anh Tuan.
