Monitoring the implementation results of the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Tinh Bien Town

On May 27, a working delegation led by Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment Tran Thanh Hiep came to supervise the implementation of the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Tinh Bien Town. Standing Deputy Secretary of the Tinh Bien Town Party Committee Vo Thi Thuy Tien and representatives of sectors and localities received and worked with the delegation.

Through screening, Tinh Bien Town has 351 households facing housing difficulties in need of support. The locality has supported 81 households that meet legal conditions to build new or repair houses in the first phase of 2025. Currently, the Town People's Committee has submitted to the Steering Committee for the implementation of the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in An Giang province to approve the list of 90 households for the second phase of support.

Through supervision, the working group highly appreciated the results in the implementation of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in Tinh Bien Town; all houses implemented met the "3 hard" criteria. The volume of documents prepared for the work of clearing and settling all funding sources was basically completed, closely following the instructions of the Department of Finance. At the same time, the working group also requested the Town Steering Committee to promptly complete the settlement documents to the Provincial Steering Committee according to regulations; create all conditions to continue supporting housing for households in the second phase of 2025...
