'Thai Nguyen product booth' on Shopee gathers over 5,000 sellers

Implementing Plan No. 04/KH-UBND of Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee to deploy the Program "Promoting trade, connecting consumption of Thai Nguyen products on e-commerce platforms in 2025", up to now, "Thai Nguyen product booth" on Shopee platform has gathered over 5,000 sellers.

Livestreaming online sales has become a regular activity of cooperatives and cooperative groups in Thai Nguyen province.

The booth has contributed to expanding the consumption market for typical products, strengths of Thai Nguyen province and prestigious, quality Vietnamese products. According to statistics of the Department of Industry and Trade, sales on Shopee platform reached about 816.3 billion VND.

In 2025, the Department of Industry and Trade actively supported businesses and cooperatives to organize online sales livestream programs. Specifically, the livestream program "Thai Nguyen OCOP Fair 2025" on the TikTok e-commerce platform with 70 million views of promotional videos ; 40 million views of the livestream program; more than 1.3 million views in 6 hours of continuous livestream, thereby more than 2,500 orders were successfully closed with a total sales value of 200 million VND.

Thai Nguyen Department of Industry and Trade also promoted trade promotion activities, supporting about 450 enterprises, cooperatives, production and business establishments to design and build about 300 booths through trade promotion programs inside and outside the province, such as: "Vietnamese Goods Week Program 2025"; "Industry and Trade - OCOP Thai Nguyen 2025" Exhibition Fair; 34th Vietnam International Trade Fair; "Regional Specialty Fair"; Cultural and Trade Exchange Booth Exhibition Area of ​​Thai Nguyen province at the Program to celebrate 20 years of signing local-level cooperation between Thai Nguyen province, Vietnam and Gyeongsangbuk-do province, Korea...

In the last 6 months of the year, the Department of Industry and Trade plans to coordinate with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to participate in organizing the Exhibition of Socio -Economic Achievements to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day. Along with that, it will continue to implement industrial promotion and trade promotion activities to support businesses in improving production efficiency, promoting products, and expanding consumption markets.
